Just prior to departing on an IFR training flight

Aces High is now proud to offer accelerated instrument training at affordable rates!  We are offering 3 packages tailored to fit your training goals.

Each package will include 40 hours of flight instruction and 25 hours of ground instruction.  These packages are designed to be completed in as little as 14 days.

We strive to provide not only accelerated instrument training but top quality instruction to back it up.

All courses include
  • Real world IFR training in IMC conditions.  Nowhere can compare to Southern California’s weather for training.
  • GPS and Autopilot usage and integration including precision WAAS GPS approaches (G1000 only).
  • Using the iPad as a cockpit utility (iPad not included).
Conventional Instrumentation – Cessna 172SP $8,650
  • 40 hours of flight training in a Nav II Cessna 172 with Autopilot and GPS.
  • 25 hours of ground instruction.
Conventional and G1000 Glass Cockpit $8,950
  • After completion of this course, you’ll be proficient in both standard ‘6-pack’ instrumentation and the modern Garmin  G1000!
  • 20 hours of flight training in a Nav II Cessna 172S with Autopilot and GPS.
  • 20 hours in a Garmin G1000 equipped Cessna 172S.
  • 25 hours of ground instruction.
Glass Cockpit G1000 Cessna 172 $9,250
  • For those who demand the most modern training options.
  • 40 hours of flight training in a Garmin G1000 equipped Cessna 172S.
  • 25 hours of ground instruction.
Prerequisites
  • Pass your Instrument Knowledge test.
  • Have a current flight review. If not, we can help you complete that, too.
  • Have a current and valid class III medical.  If not, there is an AME nearby.
  • Materials and Practical test fees are not included.
  • Preferably have logged at least 30 hours of PIC cross country flight time. If not, we can customize a plan to fit your needs.

Accommodations can be arranged nearby the Long Beach Airport if needed.
