An 11-week aviation ground school at Long Beach Airport (KLGB) covering every knowledge area you need for the FAA Private Pilot written exam. You don't need to be an Aces High student, or any kind of pilot, to come along. The current term runs Tuesday nights from September 15 to November 24, then breaks for December. Each class stands on its own, so drop in to the topics you want, skip what you already know, and retake anything that did not stick the first time for $30.

Every class stands on its own, so you can join partway through the term. Show up to the topic that is on this week and carry on through the rest at your own pace.

Pick your topics.

Already solid on aerodynamics? Skip it. Struggling with weather? Attend that week and retake it at half price if needed.

Tuesdays, 6pm.

Every Tuesday evening at 6pm. Two hours. At the flight school, 3501 N Lakewood Blvd, Long Beach CA 90808.

Retakes at half price.

Any topic you have already attended can be retaken for $30, fifty percent off the single-class rate. No limit on retakes.
