Aces High is a founding member and partner of MyFlightHQ.
Co-created by Sam Raymond, a flight school owner with 11 years of running one.
MyFlightHQ is a high quality, full-service platform for running a flight school: scheduling, reminders, aircraft maintenance, billing and student progress in one system. It was created by an owner who built a flight school from the ground up and still runs one every day, and it is priced for working flight schools, not enterprises.
Our Role
Aces High Aviation is a founding member of MyFlightHQ and a partner in building it. Our owner, Sam Raymond, co-created the platform and still helps shape what goes into it.
MyFlightHQ launched here at Long Beach in March 2026 and now runs our daily operation, from the front desk to the flight line. The Aces High App our students use is MyFlightHQ underneath.
Built From the Ground Up
MyFlightHQ was not designed by a software vendor guessing at flight training. It was co-created by Sam Raymond, who has spent 11 years running Aces High and has lived every stage of building a flight school: from half an airplane to a fleet of 13 aircraft and a full-motion simulator, and from the first student to more than 100 active students today.
That experience is built into every part of the app. Scheduling aircraft and instructors, tracking maintenance, billing students, and moving each student from first lesson to checkride all work the way they actually happen on a flight line, because the app was built on one.
The results are public. Aces High holds a 5.0 star rating across 89 Google reviews, and every one of them comes from a real student. We have never traded a discount for a review.
What It Does

Scheduling and reminders.
Book aircraft, instructors and simulator time with live availability. Students get a text before every lesson, and changes reach them the same way.

Aircraft and maintenance.
Squawks and per-aircraft flight logs sit in the same system as the schedule, so the front desk, instructors and maintenance all work from the same picture.

Billing and accounts.
Flight and ground lessons flow into billing, and students can add money on account from the app. Less month-end cleanup for the school.

Student progress.
Hours, milestones and where each student stands against their rating, updated as they fly.
Why It Exists
Flight schools tend to face a hard choice. Simple schedulers cover only part of the job. Full platforms cover all of it, but at a price built for much larger operations. We wanted a high quality, full-service system that a working flight school can actually afford, so we helped build one.
Because it is built and used on a live flight line, features come from problems we run into in the real operation. It is actively improved day in and day out, so it keeps getting better.
